Test details, requirements, and passing scores
Test Requirement Checklist
- Determine the appropriate test for your trade.
- Contact a test site to schedule the appropriate test for your trade.
- Have the test proctor provide your test printout.
- Submit a copy of your test results (printout with the score included) to the ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Office.
Test Details
Exam scores are valid for five (5) years from the test date
Next-Gen Accuplacer
This test is offered at many technical colleges. To find the nearest test site, contact your local technical college, or click here.
Classic Accuplacer
This test was offered by many technical colleges and was replaced by the Next-Generation Accuplacer in 2019. If you have already taken the Classic Accuplacer, your scores are valid for five years. This test has limited availability.
ACT
This test is offered through accredited testing centers, typically local high schools. You can register with them to schedule a testing time and site.
