Test Requirement Checklist
Exam scores are valid for five (5) years from the test date
This test was offered by many technical colleges and was replaced by the Next-Generation Accuplacer in 2019. If you have already taken the Classic Accuplacer, your scores are valid for five years. This test has limited availability.
This test is offered through accredited testing centers, typically local high schools. You can register with them to schedule a testing time and site.

Algebra Course Requirement
Documentation of algebra completion prerequisite is required.
Possible algebra documentation:
- One consecutive year of pre-college (high school) algebra with a minimum grade of a “C”. Home-schooled students must show verification of algebra in home school classes and take the algebra portion of the Accuplacer test with a minimum score of 33 for Classic Accuplacer and 216 for Next Generation Accuplacer.
- One semester of algebra at the college level with a “C” or better grade. The class can either be credited (applied to an associate degree) or non-credited.
- ModuMath Algebra: A grade of “C” – 80% – or better is needed for each of the 32 modules of this self-paced, computer program to meet the algebra requirement.
